Long Road

So I believe I made the right choice not going to that party with co-workers and old high school friends, partaking in mindless drinking and giving in when I am not strong enough to do all that right now, until I am stronger in every way.
Once I get stronger and have the closeknitness i do with my friends, I will start writing again in my own personal handheld journal again too.
Also am most conflicted, am either really glad or really sad my birthday this year might come and go like any other day, I tend to hate my birthday yet like it, I am a universal paradox or am i a universal parody? Someone should pull my strings as one big cosmic joke...
