Baseball officially lost me as a big-time fan when they had their strike in the early 90's after the Blue Jays won back to back World Series. I used to watch every game with my dad. I occasionally played wwe videogames in the early 90s on Sega, but baseball was my favorite up until the strike. In lieu of our family stopped going camping, we went to a few baseball games every summer for years up until this year I think, which live its fine and fun. However, hockey I have a moral dilemna lol. I hate the strike and what it stands for as I did with baseball. However, my dad indulges in wrestling for us to connect and watch it together or have wrestling matches on my video game for ps2, so I should watch hockey with him as a means to show I am willing to try.
